UniVerse will use shell scripts as drivers and so there are some variables that the shell script has access to. I don't have the documentation for it so this page will be my best guess. I'm sure it is defined somewhere so this should be temporary.
$1 - User ID
$2 - Spooler Entry
$3 -
$4 - Banner
$5 - Forms Queue
$6 - Printer Name
$7 - Number of Characters across
$8 - Number of Lines
$9 -
${10} -
$3 is definitely something whereas $9 and $10 may be something.
You can set the banner by:
SETPTR ,,,,,,BANNER TEST,NOHEAD,BRIEF
