December Adventure 2025
This year December I'm planning to go a bit harder on the doing things part rather than the reading and theorizing part.
I don't need to finish any one thing but rather I want to have a set of 30 days where I wrote some code and did something fun. December Adventure from eli_oats seems like a good way to do that.
December 01
Advent of Code - Day 1 Part 1
I was only able to finish part 1, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong for part 2 but I'm betting that something in my logic is not quite right. There's an edge case that I'm not covering properly.

I made some minor design changes to my blog. Not sure if it'll stick but I'll try to commit to doing some sort of designy thing each day. I think experimenting is the only way I can really learn.
December 02
Installed VirtualBox on my Arch machine and then set up a Windows virtual machine. I then installed my work vpn so I could connect to my work network and remote into my work PC. Then I connected to a client vpn and used remote desktop on a client machine.
Should really rename windows to matryoshka.
December 08
As you can see the adventure ended almost immediately after starting. The past few days have been too busy and though I did some programming work, none of it was for real fun.
I don't want the pressure of trying to have fun so I'm going to end this adventure here.
