I realized why I like the idea of a BP folder so much. It's just a monolith of code. My usual way of programming is to set up folders for the various languages and then create projects and so on but that makes re-use and searching for things much harder. For BASIC we toss everything into a single folder and then eveyrthing is in the same space. It makes re-use and searching for examples so much easier.
I imagine this is the large reason why monolith code bases are seeing a resurgence these days. The days of microservices and splitting things out might be coming to a close. I'm sure the pendulum will swing the other way and I hope I notice it!
