Watched Lake Mungo which was decent but not really scary. I had expected more horror.
Watch The Vast of Night which aesthetically was fantastic. Not scary and the ending leads to more questions I think. Watching Fay use the phone switchboard however was a delight and I loved how immersive the environment felt. It really felt authentic though I didn't live in the 1950s so who knows how authentic it was. However watching her use the switchboard definitely looked great. I had to turn on subtitles to actually keep up with how fast Everett, the radio host, talked.
Watched Noise, great movie about a woman investigating her sisters disappearance.
Watched The Vast of Night again.
Watched The Long Walk in theatres. This is a 5/5 for me. All the actors were fantastic and the whole idea of walking is terrifying. The mother at the beginning was amazing.
Watched There are Monsters. Pretty good scares. Didn't like the shakey cam found footage style but the scares are worth it. Very similar to Smile.
