Some Posts that I'm Trialing
I was reading I Quit Editing Photos and it made me want to look into getting a camera. I always want to take pictures while I'm driving, just to capture the mood. It also seems like a good reason to just go places as well.
While browsing around James Baker's blog, I ran into quite a variety of images that he had made and taken and it all feels so cool. I love the style. The blog, the pictures, the creativity.
Reading My Tiny Pixel Bear then pointed me to Sylvia, who I'm pretty sure I've actually read previously but her blog is wonderful. The entire site is great. It reminds me of what I was doing but hers is so much better. I have that feeling of jealously and admiration where I can see what I had wanted to do but here is the idea fully realized.
The Aside in her weeknotes 2026-11 really speaks to me because I think I'm way too similar to her husband.
The structure of her home page, is a Hello, These Days, These Weeks, These words, formatted as a set of columns.
Her about page and her personal canon are too cool.
This then led me to Don't Make a Blog, Make a Brain Dump. Another rabbit hole. Another place to go. Another person I'd like to add to the abyss that is my watch list. That does not exist.
