For now this will just be a quick post. I am going to try to restart my daily writing again but I'm not sure if I'll keep at it. I need to come up with some goals for the next year and some posts looking back on the previous year. I should also formalize this so that I can actually go back and read a previous year's post but we'll see.
The last few movies I watched of 2022 was Avatar The way of Water which was great both in how it looked and the story. It was much better than the first movie and is still weak story wise but the world building was great. It was a real space exploration movie and fills the same vibe that I had with Prometheus. The other movie I watched was my cousin's 300th horror movie, 100th horror movie of 2022. We watched the Possessor which was a sci-fi horror movie that deserves a post of its own. Really good and a really good end to the year.
The first movie I watched of 2023 was Glass Onion which was alright. It wasn't as good as Knives Out but was still quite good.
I finished up my JavaFX course and learned quite a bit and that also deserves a post by itself. I learned far more than I was expecting, especially how good an IDE can be.
I have some new animated shows to watch that I didn't know about. Hilda, a children's show that feels so much like over the garden wall. It is so comfy and cozy. There is also Inside Job which has a weak start but I'm curious if it get's better. I really need a media section for this blog.
