I have a shortcut to connect to my other machine using 'as'. Didn't know that it was actually a utility used when compiling projects so I was freaking out when my node addon started trying to ssh places instead of compiling.
Fun! It hit me like a ton of bricks when I realized it was probably because I was clobbering my path.
